After a whirlwind six week rehearsal schedule, the Transition Years performed ‘High School Musical’ this week in the Garage Theatre. It was a wonderful opportunity for the group to experience a full theatre setting for the music and dance extravaganza they’ve been working on since September. It was a delight to welcome so many of the local Primary Schools for two matinees on Tuesday and Wednesday, particularly as so many of the cast’s previous teachers got a chance to see the difference a few years can make! With two shows sold out on Wednesday and Thursday, the future is bright for Musicals at Beech Hill College.
Parents, siblings, neighbours and friends gave standing ovations on both nights to an extremely hardworking cast and crew. There are rumours afoot of more dramatic activity as the year progresses for this talented year group!
