Disco Inferno

BHC’s TY students brought all things retro to the Garage Theatre stage from Oct 24th – 26th with 70’s musical Disco Inferno. Students returned to school in September ready to rock this fun script with nostalgic, gritty songs from I will Survive to Crocodile Rock to Street Life. The cast of 114 members worked their creative magic with an immense amount of commitment, creativity and talent to bring this demanding production to life. Under the expert tutelage of Ms Arlene Connolly, Ms Martina Durkan & Mr Dominic McStravog students skillfully created props, set, costume and took on stage management. This wonderful cast performed to jammed packed houses and demonstrated the tremendous talent of our school community which was reinforced by the joyous reactions and standing ovations from the audience. The show was directed by Ms Joanne Brennan, musical direction, staff and student band by Ms Emily McMeel, Ms Lynn Sullivan and choreography by Ms Tara McAuley. Lifelong memories and friends were made by this tremendously talented Disco Inferno cast and crew!
