Ciara McPhillips receives 2005 Bank of Ireland Student of the Year Award |
A hearty congratulations goes to all the Sixth
Year students on their graduation and to their Year Heads for providing
them with a memorable night that they can hold in their hearts forever.
The students heard words of inspiration, wisdom and advice form College
Principal, Mr. Heaphey and from three invited speakers - Fr. McGinn and
past students, Mrs. Martina Walsh (Accountant) and Dr. Pascal Markey
(Chiropractor). This was followed by the Presentation of Subject Awards
and the Bank of Ireland Student of the Year Award to Ciara McPhillips.
After a concluding speech from Year Head, Mr. Leonard a reflection was
read by Caitriona McKenna. The sixth years, represented by Jason
McKenna and Kate Norris, made presentations to Mr. Leonard and Ms.
Lowry in recognition of their hard work and dedication in their roles
as Year Heads. The evening was rounded off with refreshments and a
chance for all to mingle. Our good wishes are extended to all of them
and we wish them every success in the future. |
