Four Beech Hill College students are members of the Co. Monaghan Vocational Schools Team which won the Ulster Title for the third year in a row against Donegal on Thursday. Well done to all the boys - we are proud of you.

BEECH HILL COLLEGE TO HOST VEC MEETING

Beech Hill College will act as host to the February Meeting of Co. Monaghan VEC to be held next Monday (8th). VEC members will have an opportunity to view the many improvements that have taken place in the College in recent months, including the new Home Economics Rooms, Computer Suites and IT equipment.

BEECH HILL COLLEGE INVESTS IN THE FUTURE
€1.5 million in improvements

Over the past number of months Beech Hill College has seen a massive investment in the upgrade and development of its infrastructure and facilities.

The overall spend on works and improvements at the College is in the region of €1.5 million. This is seen as a major vote of confidence by a number of government departments in Co. Monaghan VEC’s capacity to deliver a quality education service in the County Town now and into the future. Read more...

BEECH HILL COLLEGE HAS A NEW PRINCIPAL

Co. Monaghan Vocational Education Committee announced the appointment of the new Principal at Beech Hill College, Mr. Frank McManus, with effect from September 1st. 2008.
A graduate of University College Dublin (UCD) and the National University of Ireland (NUI) Maynooth, Mr. McManus has been a teacher with Co. Monaghan VEC since 1979 and was Senior Geography teacher in the College.
He was appointed Deputy Principal in January 2006, working alongside the Principal, Mr. John Heaphey.
We wish Mr. McManus well on his appointment.
We wish Mr. Heaphey well in his retirement and acknowledge the contribution he made to the school during his long teaching career with us and during his term as Principal.

The College welcomes its visitors from Hungary, who Hungarian Flag

arrived in Ireland on Wednesday November 14 and spent their first day in the College on Thursday.
